ACTIVITIES

  • Kangaroo Creek Farm - Visitors can enjoy wandering amongst the kangaroos! They have Red Kangaroos, Common Wallaroos, Bennett Wallabies and Dama Wallabies. Also emus, peacocks, fancy chickens, goats, parrots, a baby albino wallaby, baby kangaroos, capybaras and potbellied pigs.
     
  • Beach House Boat Rentals - Wood Lake is a quiet, calm lake, ideal for fishing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, wakesurfing. You can rent Ski Boats, Sea-Doo Jet Skis, Wakesurf Boats, Fishing Boats and Pontoon Boats. They also have Stand Up Paddleboards, Kayaks and Bicycles.
     
  • Okanagan Rail Trail - A multi-use trail, running from Kelowna to Vernon. Children, parents and grandparents can all enjoy the safety of walking and biking together away from congested roads and traffic.
     
  • Rodneys Reel Outdoors - Kokanee fishing on Wood lake is extremely well suited for families with young children wanting to learn more about the outdoors and fishing. The bite is usually strong throughout the day making for an exciting day on the water.
     
  • Okanagan Stables - Offering family oriented horseback rides for all ages. They pride themselves on putting even the youngest or most nervous riders at ease, while at the same time offering trail rides for all levels of horseback riding experience.
